How to make students drop those phones and open up to reality?

Parents and teachers are ready to do anything, safe, that will make kids drop those smartphones of theirs and have fun in the real world for a change.

Too much exposure to the internet may turn them into Sheldon from ‘Big Bang Theory ‘, now this can’t be good, so it’s essential for teachers especially to organize some activities every then, and now that will bring the kids out in the open.

Schools are placed where kids come to learn, and it shouldn’t only be academic education, the education sector is changing now, and there are schools which are encouraging outdoor activities.

Extensive use of mobile phone also results in a broken relationship with your students.

So here are some ideas to bring kids back in playing ground.

•    Outdoor cooking classes

With people going viral on the internet with the help of food, kids now love to cook; you can arrange an outdoor cooking class for them.

•    Dog wash

You can request any dog adoption houses to bring their dogs at school for a free wash and make an activity out of this. It’s foolish even to mention, but we have the most number of dog lovers throughout the history.

Kids will love this exercise plus they will learn how to treat other species, just make sure the dogs are not wild and to have a supervisor around.

•    Doga

Another dog-related activity, yes Doga is a thing, it is yoga for dogs.

Everyone is making a place in their life for yoga, and they love dogs, so Doga makes perfect sense.

Just lay off some tiny yoga mats in the garden, and you are good to go.

Call any yoga teacher, or if you have a yoga instructor in your school, it is for the best.

•    Open theater

Help bring their inner artist out, let them write the plays, let them write the dialogues and let them choose their dresses.

Select a sunny day and gather the parents as an audience, and place the stage out under the sky.

 •    Treasure hunt

Treasure hunts have lost its’ charm and importance in the schools but still are popular among kids.

You can hide a treasure inside the school premises and create maps to help kids.

Puzzles and rewards that may lead the way can also be included.

•    Community Service

According to a survey, 80% of millennials think it is essential for the people to come together for any cause.

Kids have the gentlest hearts; plan a trip to a nursing home or an orphanage or hospital to make them understand the power of helping others.

•    Human library

Schools already have a library full of books what they don’t often have is human libraries.

Invite old students to share their life experiences, and lessons learned, invite an ex-bully too, and let him spread awareness against bullying.

Final word

There is a good chance that kids will love the above-written activities if they don’t take their suggestions. A good student care center also help keeping students away from harmful use of technology.

Make sure you have listened to every one of them and then decide the activity.
